About Plan B

Of Greek decent, Andy Georgiou was born in London, England. At 16 years old he released his first single, a remake of Eric Carmen's song " That's Rock'n Roll". It was released on Logo Records and received some airplay in the London area. After playing live with a band called "The Crying Shames" in London for 6 years, he decided to move to the United States. He met up with Doug Young who had played as a successful jazz musician in a band called "Chateau". They joined two other musicians that formed a band called "The Connection". That band stayed together for 9 years performing in the Tampa Bay area. They released an album called "Play Something We Know" and 3 of the songs on that album received airplay. One of those songs made it into the top 10% of the 1990 Billboard song contest. Andy and Doug broke off from the band and formed a duo called "Plan B", continuing to perform in the Tampa Bay area. Their musical relationship now spans 17 years.
