THE COST OF A LIVE BAND
Many Bridal Websites such as the Wedding Wire and Brides.com state the average cost of a wedding band can vary. In our experience, many times the numbers we see are not reflective of the norm or real world cost. If you desire quality, it comes with a price like anything today. When booking a band from D. Bailey Management, Inc. the average cost of a band would be in the $5k to $10k range or possibly more for a custom configuration. When booking with us that would include a 5 to 6-piece band all the way up to a 8 to 10-piece band with additional singers and a horn section. More members, means more cost, but the larger band with horn section will create the ultimate experience for you and your guests by creating a fuller sound and a greater visual experience. If you’re on a more limited budget, a great professional DJ would also create a great party at a lessor overall cost.
WHAT DOES A LIVE COVER BAND PROVIDE
Normal performances are for 3 to 4 hours. The bands provide all of their own personal instruments. Our fee also includes the sound system, stage lighting, and a professional sound and lighting technician. In many cases the cocktail hour entertainment is included. Our bands will learn up to 3 songs for those special family dances (songs must be approved by agency), do all of the MC work, and create the ultimate party.

You select the talent you would like and we draw up a contract. A 50% deposit secures the date with the balance due two weeks prior to your event.
