Frankie Raye
Accompanying her powerful voice and wide vocal range with guitar, Frankie Raye is a singer/ songwriter based out of Tampa, FL. In 2019, she released her second album, "Brave", which was a follow-up to her 2016 debut, "A Thing or Two About a Dream". The album can be found on all major music platforms.
Her original music is a collection of thoughtful and witty songs delivered through catchy and up-beat melodies - she describes her own music as acoustic pop. Her genre is comparable to Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Barreilles, and Eric Hutchinson, and her songs are infused with tongue-in-cheek lyrics that are reminiscent of the artists that inspired her when she was young – namely, Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Joni Mitchell, and Melanie. In addition to writing her own material, she also has a repertoire of around 300 cover songs, each delivered with her own unique style.
She has been featured on ABC and CBS affiliate news programs, as well various radio shows throughout the country that regularly play her music (she has had airplay in New York, Texas, California, Massachusetts, and even across the globe in Australia). Performing an average of 5 to 6 shows a week, she has performed at over 100 venues around the 'Bay Area, including multiple performances at Tropicana Field, the STRAZ Center, and the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa. Other notable performances include the NAMM show in Anaheim CA (2018 & 2019), and various locations in New Orleans, LA. Gaining followers at every show she plays, her music has caught the attention of listeners all across the U.S - she has even made online CD sales in Europe and France.
